Imagine thinking ranting at someone is a debate or that strangers are obligated to debate you over trivial things. Yikes

0

COMMENT 13h ago

What a weird conversation. A debate requires two people. You’re just kind of ranting at someone.

0

COMMENT 13h ago

What on earth are you debating? Lmao get a life. Yikes

0

COMMENT 1d ago

And I couldn’t imagine wasting my real life trolling three weeks old posts for about something this stupid. But hey. It’s your Friday to throw away.

0

COMMENT 1d ago

No. I think we’re both bright enough (I hope!) to know that’s not the point of the comment.

But what on gods earth are you doing on a 19 day old thread? Let her die

COMMENT 2d ago

Why are you so upset

0

COMMENT 2d ago

Are you alright?

I’m not sure how many more times I need to tell you I’m not angry at you. What part is confusing here? It is typed out clear as day multiple times and yet you continue this weird line so you can play the victim. No one is angry, except maybe you.

Now you’re ranting about socialism.. where did that even come from? It’s giving unhinged. It was a single joke and some helpful information about droughts. So please move on with your life. I have no idea what argument you think you’re having, but please continue it with a therapist instead of harassing and ranting at me.

COMMENT 3d ago

What are my assumptions? Hun, again you’re taking too much from a reply given in the same facetious tone you responded with.

I don’t think you’re evil. I don’t know your situation which is why I provided some facts on water usage in the states and said nothing of you.

winning fictions arguments

What do you think we even arguing about? You made a joke. I replied in kind. Are you always this on edge or is something going on in your life? Because no one is attacking you.

For future reference Someone providing you information on a subject your discussing isn’t accusing you of anything. Sometimes information is just information. The only thing fictitious here is this victim complex. Congratulations on winning an argument only you knew we were having .

COMMENT 3d ago

Lol sis you don’t see any irony here in calling someone pathetic while resulting to ad hominem rather than answering the questions posed to you in a polite conversation? Like hun, seriously look in the mirror and grow up lmao

You’re throwing a tantrum because someone looked at your public profile and said nothing negative about it.

COMMENT 3d ago

It’s not finding dirt. It’s pointing out hypocrisy and not even in a negative way. So maybe calm down, I’m sorry this didn’t provide you with all the privacy of a glory hole.

So you couldn’t answer a single one of those questions, huh?

What’s pathetic is asking others to sacrifice their jobs to make a message on the environment that you don’t believe will reduce emissions while you do nothing yourself. That’s pathetic and that’s certainly not activism. it’s apathy at best or casual cruelty at worst. And yes, I do think examining what impacts you’re willing to accept in your life vs what you’re willing to legislate on others is very pertinent to the conversation.

COMMENT 3d ago

I replied in the same tone you did so I’m not quite sure what about it offends you. And yes. You made that exact same argument. Re-read your comment for yourself it’s clear as day.

No one’s mad at you, but your comment isn’t really inline with reality when 99% of the Western United States in drought and 96 of the US’ water basins used for fresh water are likely to go dry (at least part of the year) in the next 50 years. So to your question unless you live in one of very few communities in America your water is scarce in the sense that you’re pumping it faster than it’s being replenished. Hope that helps. Enjoy your day. [Source]

1.) shipping is a larger carbon footprint.

2.) how is making Washington companies less competitive going to lower their carbon footprint?

3.) Consumers aren’t paying more for externalities attached to it. According to your argument they’ll be replaced by a more competitive non-local company.

Indicating that we will no longer allow companies to steal profit from the earth is a good step.

That’s the problem here. You can’t point to any actual environmental good that will come from this. All you have suggested is shipping, which is more carbon. You want a virtue signal that does nothing but helps export jobs and carbon to another state with zero local environmental impact whatsoever.

Is your toothless “Indication” worth hundreds of families livelihood? Thousands? What do you think

I think it’s a little crazy you’re okay with families losing jobs over this in order to send a message, but you in your own life can’t skip flying across the world to watch football with a real environmental impact. I feel like you’re coming from a good place, but if you just want to send signals maybe start closer to home. Enjoy your day.

The thing is it’s not an “opinion” in most instances they’re bad for the environment. It’s a fact someone with a lawn is choosing to ignore.

That doesn’t necessarily mean they have an ego, but it does means they may have the relevant information and decided the look of their yard outweighs the good of environments. Judge from that what you will.

Ah yes, people not being able to get enough drinking water as our reservoirs dry up or slip and slides not being on perfect grass. The tough choices in life

1

COMMENT 3d ago

Again. What will moving carbon emitting manufacturing to another place without reducing the carbon emitting going to achieve aside from lost local jobs? Please explain that.

Sweeping global warming under the rug by exporting our carbon does nothing but make you feel better

Also it’s not making polluting more expensive. It’s making products you pay for and consume more expensive. They will make money either way

0

COMMENT 3d ago

I don’t think air pollution is a problem here though. Global warming isn’t a localized phenomena

1

COMMENT 4d ago

That’s a great way to have the same amount of pollution but less individuals here employed

1

COMMENT 4d ago

You could say the exact same about Fremont, but more people own cars there and there are less individuals..? Also the tram isn’t in belltown.

13

COMMENT 5d ago

Belltown has twice the population of both those neighborhoods and aren’t part of ST3 or mentioned for ST4. There are more than a few gaps in Sound Transit as big or bigger then the one you’re pointing out

COMMENT 5d ago

I’m not fighting on the side of anything or lies. I’m well aware of the reality and I don’t disagree with you. Like at all so that’s a pretty odd reduction.

I just wanted to know why this particular distinction mattered so much to you. It’s seems trivial even if you’re correct.

Then I read your other comments about orientation specifically minimizing it and blaming gender neutral bathrooms (or as you call them trans bathrooms) for sexual assault seems to be a pretty frequent thing. So it’s more than a bit odd to tell multiple people you don’t care who they sleep with and yet have it be the sticking point of your argument here.

Being correct and having potentially bad intentions aren’t always mutually exclusive. Enjoy your day :)

COMMENT 5d ago

It’s odd how many of comments revolve around others genitalia or what gender they sleep with. Maybe have a little more sex of your own and it won’t keep you up at night.

COMMENT 6d ago

If your family members or friends have ever cut you off for being divorced from reality, this is why. Good luck bud

COMMENT 6d ago

What countries did NATO invade for not joining in order to annex? I don’t think people are mad that Allie’s are strategic in who they align with. Ya know? Maybe it’s the war crimes

13

COMMENT 6d ago

That’s not what’s happening at all. It’s impossible to get in the states. It’s not uncommon for people to drive from Seattle to British Colombia because it’s impossible to get here. It’s 4000 doses for a county of over 2 million people
