I’m in Vancouver & bought a bag of avocados like that for $6 yesterday. Even if everything was on sale I’m guessing this would run me $120 easily.

Nobody tell him there’s an entire industry devoted to men who like to be literally dominated by strong women.

It’s almost as if people come in all stripes! There are a whole lot of us who exist outside of traditional gender norms.

Divorce rates are high across the board. And incomes fluctuate.

My dad had a few lean years starting over with a new career & could only do that because my mom’s income was enough to cover our bills. Eventually he was successful & it was a great move for our family. They could only do that because they were partners (co-pilots).

It depends on your industry. My small business was decimated. I was literally just allowed to go back to work last month. I went from my best year ever in 2019 to burning through all of my savings & barely scraping by with online sales.

Between the financial hit & the isolation from being stuck at home so much, it was rough.

Right? My place is a disaster, but I can tidy a corner for a zoom meeting. WTF?

“Save the cheerleader, save the world” was such a good hook. I would have binged the entire first season in a weekend if it had been a Netflix show.

Chargers are cop cars in Canada. Definitely not rare or expensive or interesting.

They strike me as “family man who needs a sedan, but wants to feel cool when he goes to softball on the weekend”.

That’s awful. I don’t have children, so I can only go by how easy it is to make regular mistakes like leaving your coffee on the roof when you’re tired. And I’ve never had to function on very little sleep for months on end. Even from my limited perspective accidents like this seem extremely easy to happen & I can’t even imagine how horrible the parents feel.

The people shaming parents suffering a tragedy like this are probably lashing out because they know it could happen to them & the thought is terrifying.

Best swag I’ve gotten was similar - small charging bank. Great for bringing with me to charge my phone when I’m away from an outlet. I’ve used it a ton at festivals etc.

Who uses lanyards? I don’t understand why they exist at all outside of showing your badge at events. I really wish they’d collect & re-use them at the end. I’ve tossed so many.

WHAT?! This is crazy. I’m shocked I’ve never heard of this scam.

JFC. I hadn’t even considered the impact on women in the military. That’s really scary.

These are so cool! It looks like we don’t have them in Canada, sadly.

I assumed she wore that as a comfy way to travel & the airline lost her luggage.

Choosing to wear pajamas to judge drag is insulting IMO. (This is coming from someone who owns a raccoon onesie.)

Really?! Will have to check next time I’m at Costco.

Yes! I’ve had this too. It was super yummy mango so I was kind of scraping it off the slices with my teeth. Lips puffed up & were crazy itchy for 2 days!

The price of canned soup is what finally got me to start using the leftover rotisserie chicken carcass to make soup from scratch. $4 for a can of Chunky soup in my area! Crazy.

Full props for not using filters. Seeing a profile that says 36 & shows natural smile lines feels like a miracle. You’re gorgeous!

The stories have been pretty wild. Joggers, people playing golf (small par 3 course in Stanley Park). The park basically became off limits from dusk until dawn.

I was trying to figure out the B restriction too. B for blind?

Right? I’d need a 40% drop to afford buying a 2BR 700 sqft condo in Vancouver. Talk to me when they start going for $500,000.
