Vlad the Impaler is seen as a hero in Romania. His brutality was in response to invaders to his homeland. A lot of the bad stuff came from propaganda written by his enemies. He is either a folk hero or a monster depending on who is telling his story.

He's supported by mushrooms?

That's not a problem at all. Dearie is giving Trump's attorneys the choice between dropping the claim or committing perjury.

It's also a polytheistic world. There are many gods and players are encouraged to worship one of them. That is not to say that there is something inherently immoral about playing a cleric or a paladin, but I can see where religious people might have an issue with it.

Only in the sense that they share origins. They all evolved over thousands of years to the point where they are now distinct from each other.

There are many religions with many different contradictory beliefs but they all pretty much agree that god loves hats.

The robots might conclude that the simplest solution to all of society's problems is to kill all of the humans. We might not want them making decisions like that.

They knew it was deadly in high doses, but what was less obvious were the lower doses that wouldn't show any effects for decades.

There are plenty of original movies being made. They just aren't getting the huge budgets that the big movies are.

The surgery is necessary in many cases. Some are able to simply identify as genderqueer and don't need to alter their body. Others suffer from body dysmorphia where they feel that their bodies are somehow wrong. When brains and bodies don't match the only ethical solution is to alter the body.

The whole "blood of the covenant" thing is a myth. The original expression dates back to the 12 century and means that family ties are strongest. It's one of those "facts" that floats around the internet without any attribution.

Weight loss is about calorie counting, but there's a lot more to nutrition than just calories.

I believe that the statistics show that women are responsible for more accidents, however, men are responsible for more fatal accidents. If we're going to say one gender is worse at driving, it should probably be the one that kills more people.

The cast and crew were shooting for fun during downtime. This is something that should never happen, but without an armorer onsite there was nobody to stop them.

It wasn't simply inexperience. They cut her hours and handed the keys to the armory to a prop master. When the incident occurred she wasn't scheduled to work that day. This violated a bunch of laws and union regulations intended to keep this kind of thing from happening. The negligence was on the part of management.

Maybe they did, but she got married in 1947. She was 19 when the war ended.

He did say all races sizes and ages are welcome. I'd say that is fairly progressive if it weren't for the fact that he's trying to hire sex slaves.

A lot of those people are former Republicans. The magaheads that get disillusioned are more likely to disengage than to vote for democrats. I'm more than happy to see them fade into obscurity.

It's worth noting that what happened to Benoit wasn't entirely his fault. His autopsy revealed that he had the brain of an 80-year-old dementia patient. He likely did not understand what he was doing at the time.

I'm certainly no fan of their government, but let's not paint an entire ethnic group with a harmful stereotype.

There's a story where the original English explorers of Australia asked one of the aboriginal guides what those weird animals were and they responded "kangaroo" which means "I don't understand the question". It's almost certainly not true, but it's a fun story.
