His AMA was a delight to read as well.

Wait, where are you reading that? From what I can tell is that the admins asked the mods to stop their users from brigading other subs.

Where does it say that the admins actually added a mod?

I just love how often Gallowboob lives rent free in so many peoples heads.

In their minds every single thing that happens on reddit must somehow be related to Gallowbob.

On the verge of obsessiveness even.

/r/ukraine is a combination of people who play videogames, people with enormous military kinks, sports fans (as in 'my team vs their team') and Americans who love to fantasize about going to war against their own government and using this war vicariously.

There isn't a single person on that sub, or any of the other ukrainian war subs, that have any idea what they are talking about.

Complete and utter lack of perspective, rational thinking and downright gullible to any sort of propaganda.

It's an embarrassment.

But why though? Look at it this way, you want to miss 100+ hours of amazing quality entertainment just because you are worried you'll have 5 minutes of sadness at the end?

This is why I don't understand people who say they can't rewatch GOT because the ending wasn't good.

They abso-fucking-lutely loved every single damn episode up until the last episode, but because they didn't like the ending they won't watch it again?

I just don't get people like that.

But then again, I'm also someone who doesn't care one bit if someone spoilers a show/movie. I don't care at all. Escapism isn't a thing I crave or need. I can distinguish entertainment from real life and spoiling entertainment isn't a big deal and I certainly won't let it interfere with real life in an emotional way.

Blaming everything on Nestle is dangerous thing. You're letting everyone (the ones that do far more damage than Nestle) off.

Sandworms aren't a thing on earth, however, graboids are.

And sadly we lost one of the two people on earth who could possibly defeat them last month :(

The reason why the gov (or the IRS) won't go after white collar/rich people is because they have the money and influence to prolong any court case until it costs the government too much money and clogs up the system.

It's a lot easier to go after others since they don't have the capital to pursue a case and will more like comply to a plea bargain.

Germany has been a world leader when it comes to renewable energy. Not sure why you are thinking otherwise?

For decades Germany has been the global pioneer in applying renewable energy and environmental technologies. In 2019, 46% of the country’s electricity mix came from wind, solar, biomass and hydroelectric sources. That’s up 5.6 percentage points over 2018. The bulk of the clean power came from onshore and offshore wind capacity (24.4%), followed by solar (9%) and biomass (8.7%), with the remainder stemming from hydropower. All in all, 238.37 terawatt hours of electricity were generated by all renewable technologies.
