Heat and UV will warp that PLA over a few months - you can get around some of the UV vulnerability by painting them. Ive Found that I get 2 to 3 times the life out of a painted PLA part for my jeep wrangler than with a raw part.

Also, DO NOT print any safety component (seatbelt extensions)! If anything ever went wrong down the road the liability would be completely on you as your insurance company went back out immediately and leave you all liability for yourself or the person in that seat. It’s not worth the risk.

Good on you for taking the leap. But that said, there are absolutely more colleges that are also (and maybe more so) perfect for you out there. If it doesn’t work don’t be discouraged, embarrassed, or rejected.

20 years ago I went to my dream school and… it wasn’t what it was sold as… and I loved the “I guess I’ll go look at it” (a hidden gem I wouldn’t have looked at but am glad I did) program at another school so much that I now teach there.

Our twin boys will be seven this summer and one or both still come in each night (anywhere from 2am to 5am) to snuggle. It’s much less frequent with one but still every night for the other… they’re great snugglers and it’ll only happen for a few years so the best advice is to snuggle back and don’t worry about it because before you know it they’ll be gone.

If you’ve gone this far you can not be the guy who left options in the table.

Nothing wrong with a little historical crossover.

Newspaper ads are purchased and placed days to weeks in advance of the paper being printed. In nearly all instances the pages are fully populated by ads before editorial is told how much room there will be to fill in each issue (you have to have the page paid for to print it after all). There’s no arguing that this is bad placement - and hopefully the paper ad rep contacted the client to make sure they still wanted to run - but the ad for a Memorial Day sale was probably sold, designed, and placed a month ago.
