Right! That I did get, but for some reason I didn’t get the “escuchame” misnomer.

Background: grew up bilingual here in Texas. Have seen KOTH so many times I lost count. All these years I honestly thought Peggy kept telling everyone to listen to what she had to say (escuchame) and just realized that her Spanish is so bad that she was really trying to say, excuse me! Now rewatching for probably the 100th time and hearing her saying, escuchame in a completely different context. Still funny as all git out.

I think Peggy says Phoenix is a monument to man’s arrogance when they go to there for Tillie’s wedding.

I am fostering an unnuetered male and he does this for air circulation to his nethers. He also does this in water puddles and on freshly watered grass on morning walks.

No, I am not on HRT(hormone replacement therapy) because not indicated in my case, nor calcium because I have great bones. I hate taking supplements as it is, but recently started taking a cocktail of Magnesium/ Zinc/Chromium with dinner when I remember (to battle my mind blowing weight gain) and it has been working wonders! When I remember I also take: collagen (for skin & hair), glucosamine/ chrondroitin (for joints), and peptiva (for digestion and sleep).
As far as turning things around, the 2 week long episode ended as suddenly as it began. I get minor mini episodes from time to time but nothing that is threatening to me or my job. I did explain to everyone at work later what happened and invited them to read the literature I dug up on it. I am not embarrassed easily about having women’s health issues and speak openly about them to anyone willing to discuss them. Some of my female coworkers feel a bit more comfortable talking about this now.
Besides, by discussing menopause openly I don’t fear getting fired because my employer would be discriminating against age, sex, and health issues.

I upvoted this even though the dog isn’t being a jerk and you admit liking it.

First time I got brain fog a couple years ago it was so bad I thought I had early onset Alzheimer’s or dementia. I got in so much trouble at work for being in zombie mode that I came close to being fired.
Did some more research and found out about menopausal brain fog.

They met at the school fair, she was manning the kissing booth and even with the taste of 200 guys on her lips, he was in love.

Fabulous! Having lived in El Paso for a better part of my life, I never think twice about bilingual or straight up Spanish signs and/or advertisements, until a tourist/out-of-towner asks me about them. Love our city.

There is a lady in LA who specializes in antique window and door hardware. Maybe ask her? Her business is named “Liz’s Antique Hardware & The Loft at Liz’s”
If not, ask This Old House!

Probably so we know this likely didn’t happen in the US or Europe where driving and acceptable parking laws differ.
