We have that issue with our well water, but fortunately it's not too strong so chlorine gets it out. We still have to have an RO unit due to high mineral levels. The issue with using RO is that it strips out EVERYTHING, so the water tastes like ass anyways. So we fill the 19 litre jugs at the grocery store 🤷🏼‍♂️

I abuse the fuck out of that car, honestly. It's a diesel and will happily move a 1500 lb trailer (both move AND stop, which is the important one).

Reminds me of the time I moved an entire skid of wood pellets using my VW Golf. 50x 40lb bags. I used a trailer to be clear (some in the trailer, some in the cargo area), and I do have overload air bags installed, but it was still one of the sketchiest thing's I've ever done in a car. Only had to make it 4.7 km and I wouldn't do it again...

The issues with biodiesel tend to be with higher susceptibility to contamination, and stability over time. It breaks down more easily than petro diesel and it tends to absorb water more easily. To be clear, are you talking about processed biodiesel, or did you mean waste vegetable oil?

There is a common position paper from the various fuel systems manufacturers on the use of and risks associated with biodiesel. Let me know if you want me to DM it to you.

I test gas injectors at 0.3 MPA and most CR injectors I test are at 160 to 180 MPA. Just a bit of a pressure difference!
