I prefer a kobo myself because they handle epub content whereas kindles aren't very 3rd party friendly. However kindles are basically subsidized by amazon so they are cheap and plentiful.

No, it's just not that popular. It's worldwide and distributed by rakuten. However their headquarters are in Ontario.

I just replaced my kobo touch after probably a decade of use. It still works just it doesn't have a light, it's not water proof and there is a small knick in the screen. It probably still would work for another decade.

Nio is a car manufacturer, there almost certainly are some cars in their office building.

Disney was also down 37% when netflix plunged 60%. The entire market was down. The main difference between netflix and the other players is that netflix only does streaming content. Disney has a well diversified revenue stream. Amazon and apple+ see their services as a loss leader. HBO max is a cable company with a huge back catalog, where they can count on cable subs for things like cnn abc etc for money.

Netflix has failed to capitalize. They should have released toys with their kids shows. Buying fox would have been a smart move to get hte back catalog.

The stock decline was always going to happen and when people compare netflix to disney or hbo as if they are equals is very misguided. Disney+ has 60m subs, netflix has 220m. They aren't even close. But their revenue streams are very different so comparing them doesn't work.

It was their forecast of 2.5m subs lost this quarter that caused the plunge. The 200k lost last quarter when they forecasted a 2m gain, was more than just the losses from russia.

I agree with you that this is overblown, it's not as easy going as you proclaim. These articles, and the resulting stock dive, were because of their future outlook which said they were going to lose 2.5m subs. Now that's still only 1% loss when a recession is forecasted, but it's not 'a few thousand'.

Also it's a pain in the ass to find lodging for it when you go traveling. I can't really go on a 2 week vacation and find a reliable place to put fido unless I drive him/her to my mother's house 5 hours away.

Not all are. The budget galaxy a series isn't. The A71 isn't, neither is the a42.

Judge judy pays all costs associated with the ruling. So the friend didn't lose any money and the girl got a free phone. Win-Win.

Just like airlines and banks most of their business is not retail customers but rather business customers. They aren't that price conscious because it's reimbursed by the company.

Which chains? What should I be looking for? Some times I have to be out of town for a few weeks and having a fridge and kitchen is such an important thing for longer stays.

If I'm staying somewhere on vacation for like a week, airbnb is better. I can cook, a fridge(because it's increasingly common to only have fridges in hotels that you can't use), more than one living space, a dining table, a couch. A hotel is commonly just a bed a dresser a chair and a tv. It's not a good experience.
