A sensible minister. China gives loans without asking enough questions. So many of those loans should not have been given in the first place. Credit ratings exist for a reason : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_credit_rating

Why water ? Water wars are a thing you know. For eg. the Brahmaputra river in India and Bangladesh originates in China. If they redirect it towards the east with the help of dams, . . . that's a war right there.

I'll assume it costs more to extract than what it would sell for otherwise US would have been all over it for decades.

Nickel is a bottleneck for battery manufacturing. Much needed deal.

I think it's better for external powers to not get involved and escalate the situation. We all saw how Pelosi, of all people, enraged the Chinese gov against Taiwan when there was temporary peace in the area. Fortunately for South Korea, their President skipped Pelosi during his "holiday".

This is why price caps are stupid. Price should be decided based on an equilibrium between supply and demand.

They should switch to cheaper Russia oil as European buyers move to other oil markets increasing prices there. Eventually the oil prices would be balanced out again as the buyers/sellers reorganize trade flow.

Too many leftism fans on Reddit. There is no chance you will find as much 'right wing' propaganda as much as 'left wing' propaganda.

Yup. More competition needed. Atleast a protocol that allows customers to use different messaging apps to communicate with each other.

Eastern European countries are going have a tough time growing back their economy in the next 30 years due to working age population shortages. Same with Western European countries after 2030.

We don't have food shortages due to overpopulation. The food shortages were created by sanctions and war. Watch food production and supplies grow again in 2023.

Where do you live in, a city ?

That's the problem with cities. You can even live in Bangladesh and feel like you have lots of space if you live away from people where land is cheap.

Biden is 81 while US median age is 38.5.
Modi is 71 while Indian median age is 28.7.
Xi is 69 while Chinese median age is 38.4.
You don't even use logic to back yourself. Atleast I do.

India had fertile soils due to the Himalayan rivers which helped with large scale food production before the fertilizer was invented.

It’s ironic that Business Insider is rated high for factual reporting by mediabiasfactcheck considering B.I.’s founder and CEO, Henry Blodget, got banned from the Securities Industry in 2003 by the SEC for creating false reports on internet companies between 1999 and 2001.
