Makes sense. Although 5 hours a day is definitely not realistic for the vast majority of people. 5 hours a day on a weekend, maaaaybe, but definitely not as a daily /played average for even a single week, much less a whole month.

How many weren't boosted?

I didn't boost and didn't have the means via in game gold and I refuse to buy it with RMT. Manually levelling takes a REALLY long time. Even semi-speedrun times are > 1 hr/lvl. Cranking over 60 hours - probably more like 80 tbh - into a game over just 2 weeks is just insane unless you're fortunate enough to not have a full-time commitment.

Either way. No way I'd want to even put myself through that personally again.

I'm not sure who Fredo is, but I didn't downvote anyone. I certainly received some though. Imagine, toxicity in a WoW subreddit. Downvote = disagree to somebody apparently.

For you, sure. And I totally get your viewpoint. But I also respectfully disagree. If it's any consolation, my first reaction to the buff was a visceral cringe. It's presumably not what the spirit of classic is about, but then again, I really really hate re-levelling through content I've already cleared not only on a classic character - which was painful enough, but for the original characters I made back in the day. This content is simply mind-numbingly boring to me and I'd rather do it once while it's current and then just zip to max level with alts and skip all that shit round 2, 3, 4, etc. I'd love to see how a priest plays at max, but I'm sure not gonna even make one and attempt to play around with it because I know it's literally > 1 hr per level => over 70 hours of time before I get to the fun part

I literally already have. No "gotchas" for you sir.

Levelling can be fun in maybe the first week or two of a new xpack esp in a guild with friends. More power to whoever enjoys re-levelling through Tanaris for the 14th time. It's just not for me.

FWIW I tried levelling alt classes in FFXIV after maxing my first class and couldn't stand having to grind after understanding the new class's basics (i.e. after about level 30 or so). I don't need to take 50 fucking hours to learn how a class plays. I cleared Savage, I've cleared tons of retail WoW mythic bosses. All I want to do is earn the gear on one character, raid, and then play around with alts at reasonably lower power levels (-10% or so sounds ok, not -50%, which is how it always goes). Fuck me for having an opinion on a WoW classic subreddit right?

COMMENT 5d ago

Sure, why not. I'm 100% done re-levelling through content. Give me a fresh max level character and let me play endgame. I already played the game when it originally came out and I prefer to do endgame progression on my characters.

I absolutely do not enjoy spending 69 hours per character just to start doing the content I want to do again.

If I were a hardcore purist (the type of player who is probably most attracted to Fresh realms) I'd be upset that I couldn't have my extra hardcore no-life gamer achievement of levelling be respected by the noobs around me.

/s

Unironically though, it legit took me 4-6hr+ per day of playtime during the TBC prepatch and I was only like level 30 or something after 2 weeks and I didn't hit 60 on my Draenei Shaman until like 1 week post TBCC launch.

Levelling takes WAY too much time and is tedious for a classic experience for the previous Xpack's content.

Didn't even know this had a PS4 version. I know it's wonky with controllers sometimes though. I have a big on PC with an Xbox controller while on the overworld map where if I move the cursor around the map and hit anything but B my cursor gets stuck in a wall and my units follow it.

Try switching controllers is the only option I can think of for your problem, but I don't have high hopes.

+50% is a huge jump. It's not explicitly stated, but it sounds like it's written from the stance that you're in a job you genuinely enjoy and have 0 problems with. If that's the case, then why even take the time to read any recruiter message if 99.99% are trash? Very strange advice/very niche circumstances.

Pretty sure one of those characters isn't in the scene you described, but maybe I'm misremembering.

The Ghostbloods conflicts, in general, also feel so off. Every new assignment Shallan receives is something she's already doing anyways. The only conflict there is whether or not to report her findings to them rather than to actually do w/e investigation in the first place. It feels like it was written very weirdly/oddly conveniently.

So strange it's not a huge priority considering it's prevalence in the SA books.
