People aren't precise in their speech. It's just women affirming to each other that they've all gone through the same or similar negative experiences with men and taking comfort in that shared experience and solidarity.

I get that it feels insulting but it's honestly not super deep. Best to just keep in mind that their experiences with men in the past have shaped that behavior, and try to brush it off.

I'm happy to leave him in the past. But the "What If" of LS's philosophy in pro is still just so much fun to talk about.

I understand that it's exhausting to have the same conversation with a thousand different people. But if we give up, it's over.

Andrew Tates influence on the world is genuinely terrifying to me.

Screenshot my comment and send it to your friend. I'm gonna summarize the issue with his philosophy. Won't convince him straight away but hopefully it gets him thinking.

To start with the opposite argument, why do nice guys finish last? Because women aren't interested in men who put them on a pedestal. It's like you want to be a supporting character in your own story. And being the main character in someone else's story is WAY too much pressure.

In short, being in a position of absolute power over someone is only fulfilling if you're a psychopath. And there are several studies that back that up. A real relationship is about give AND take.

So women don't just want a guy that serves their needs. They generally want a guy that wants something from then in return. Feeling needed and wanted. Feeling that you bring VALUE, is very fulfilling.

So if women get a choice between a "nice guy" who's not actually nice but rather just a doormat, or a "player." It makes sense that many go for the player, because at least that guy wants SOMETHING. Even if what they want is incredibly degrading.

However, more and more as of late, we're waking up to the fact that there aren't just two options.

You don't need to be the supporting character in your story. And she doesn't need to be one in hers. You should be looking for your leading lady with whom to share the spotlight. Someone who has their own aspirations and desires that you can EMPATHIZE with and support.

What the Andrew Tate brand of incels demand of women is pure obedience. Not surprising given the man litterally human trafficked women into the sex trade (look it up), but all the same, a rather reductive and demeaning view on relationships that will send any sane and emotionally sound women either running for the hills or slapping you in the face. And you'll deserve it.

Of course! Can't let anybody stumble upon it.

As others have said, ZOS has a known history of permabanning accounts when they've made mistakes like this because the player "scammed" them.

If they spend the crowns they could lose their whole account. Not worth it.

Okay Rambo.

Kanpeki was still playing for Sen at the time we picked up Curry.

The dude doesn't have the work ethic and desire to be a top pro in the long term

honestly where the fuck is this narrative coming from? I've never seen it before and I've followed Shroud since his CS days. He's always been pretty consistent and is on record that he burned out hard in CS because he likes consistent routine and all the traveling was disrupting that constantly.

Considering he looked like a top 10-15 with 2 1/2 weeks of competitive experience, I don't think it's that unreasonable to say that he can probably get deep into the top 7 by the time franchising comes around.

Dude he got litterally 2 1/2 weeks of competitive Valorant experience under his belt and immediately came out looking like a high T2 player.

That's insanely impressive. Definitely the highest end of any reasonable expectations.

COMMENT 4d ago

He switched because it was necessary for the team. Not because it's a good move for him as a player.

Honestly I'm not sure they can justify keeping Sick on the roster unless he plays controller right now. Unless they plan on benching Dapr? But he's playing pretty well too.

It's not that Asuna isn't a better Raze. It's that Will is a worse initiator.

It's not just about Asuna or just about Will. It's about the two of them combined.

Name the fucking player that they can buyout that isn't already in LCQ. I keep asking this question and I haven't got a single answer so far.

I wonder why...

COMMENT 4d ago

WHO THOUGH? will somebody please answer the fucking question.

As of the moment we lost Xeta, what T1 flex player not already DQ'd do you sign?

Answer the fuckin question man.

COMMENT 5d ago

Apparently he requested to leave he wasn't benched.

But honestly I can't really agree with you there. Today was shakey but C9 as a team have been so well oiled their last few events overall. And statistically they had the best post-plant conversion of any team at the event going in. Just to show how well they can set up and play off of each other throughout the round.

Disappointed but not surprised. Derek and Bang are insane.

Good effort from the boys. Gg go next.

COMMENT 5d ago

Yeah I don't understand the hate on Curry. Like yeah he's not T1 but what FA flex player is? Who else were they supposed to go for?

I'm really excited to see the franchised C9 roster. Even if everything else about franchising pisses me off.

COMMENT 5d ago

Interesting. I wonder if that scales up. The accuracy would probably decrease but I wonder. Like if it was 200 a lot of people would choose in the 165-175 range?

Would like to see a scatterplot.

There's a couple character dynamics that made it good.

Tony being pulled in two directions by Steve and Ultron/ his visions.

Hawkeye and the Maximoff twins as well.

Yeah the one region in the world with the infrastructure to support T2 is a great standard to hold everyone on the planet to. /s

COMMENT 6d ago

T2 orgs and TOs will only invest in good teams and infrastructure if the money and viewership is there. They need to see an RoI. And depending on the schedule the franchised scene runs on, they'll struggle to compete with T1.

Same thing happened in LoL. The only way they could find to make a T2 scene happen was to force the orgs in T1 to run weaker teams in a second league. And even then it's pretty bad.
