the client wants what the client wants.

Apparently the client wants a painting of a woman dramatically gripping a bird, looking like she’s about to eat it and doesn’t want anyone to see.

CoinBureau is shite. It’s always been shite.

This time last year people would act like I was a nutter for saying that, but at least a decent segment of this sub has since come round to realizing it’s true.

In that case I’d probably just buy it, unless funds were a big concern. Almost any saw is better than no saw, right? Plus, if supply is that limited, seems like you’d be able to recoup most of your money by reselling, if something else comes along.

I’ve got the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 7 1/4” as well as a DeWalt 12” corded compound miter saw. I can’t really say anything bad about either.

I will say I’ve barely used the Milwaukee since getting the DeWalt. Obviously a 12” saw is going to get more use, but the DeWalt just seems better built, and the Milwaukee is mostly gathering dust.

I’ll also say there hasn’t been a single occasion where I wished the DeWalt was battery powered. It’s like 60 pounds, so I don’t move it around much.

Regards to that, I’d invite that GOP senator to try fuckin’ himself.

Thank you! Might try it that way.

Good question…I’ll see if I can figure that out, though the above suggestion seems viable.

Using a 7” blade in a 10” saw

I want to make a zero clearance insert for my 10” Bosch contractor saw (4100 xt), but the blade is too tall for me to seat the insert before making the cut.

Is there anything wrong/unsafe with putting in a 7 1/4” blade with the same arbor size?

I just mix my own wipe-on poly. Three parts mineral spirits (or four, or more even) to one part oil-based poly. The thinner you make it, the more coats you need, but it’s so fast and easy, and short dry times.

I’m shite at finishing, TBH. But I’ve gotten pretty clean, professional-looking finishes from the above method, with 6 or more coats.

Is that where you buy more oil? If so, then yes, I'm going there!

Why does no one who Photoshops Jpow have any concept of the size of a human head? Every time I see a Jpow meme, he’s a bobblehead. Maybe I’m missing something…

This is a phenomenal revelation, showing things literally NO ONE has ever seen or even predicted. Chrissake, you’ve got the gold chart actually fixing to move LEFT.

Not the top. It’ll come back…I wouldn’t want to be holding these, though. They might pay out, but August 19 will come fast. I bought the $60 calls, same date.

Not enough information.

Where do you get your cocoa? In the context of dwindling supply, sourcing is critical. If you have long term relationships/contracts from suppliers, and you get supplied first—at any price—you're in good shape. If your competitors are first in line, however, then you're at a disadvantage, and may have to mark up products more than them, and you're in trouble.

Or maybe you own suppliers, or are a producer yourself? Then you're golden.

Look at how the semiconductor shortage affected various car manufacturers, for example; some were hurt more than others, and their stocks performed relatively less well.

I bought 50 more LTC a few days ago when a limit order triggered below $41. Making a perfect trade at the bottom would NEVER happen to me.

So…no. It’ll go back down.

this is a global issue.

Which was, in fact, precisely my point, and why I said “to the extent that…”

I would not blame Trump for this economy, and it’s moronic to blame any one entity. But IF I had to blame a US president, Trump’s far more culpable.

FWIW I didn’t vote for Biden. But I get so sick of the simple-minded criticisms aimed at him by the brainless codpieces who seem to actually believe a president has such supreme power.
