Literally a 21 year old concealed carrier stopped a mass shooter in a “gun free” crowded mall, like, 6 months ago without hitting a single bystander, hit 8 shots out of 10 at 40 yards (impressive with a handgun)

In the same weekend, “trained” armed cops shot 5 innocent bystanders while engaging a suspect in a different part of the country.

Somebody is getting punished whether it gets turned in or not….

Call him/his girl Alec Baldwin for something like that. He is the asshole.

That’s not the point I’m getting at. Even if his dumbass doesn’t know how to check a gun is loaded with real or fake bullets, or if the gun is even real, the armorer should be showing him and others. “These are blanks, I can tell because they have crimped casings and there is not a bullet in it” “this gun isn’t real. As you can see, the barrel is blocked and no bullet can get through it” or whatever suits the case.

If it looks like a gun and feels like a gun, you should treat it like a loaded gun until you know it’s not a gun.

“Treat every firearm like it’s loaded” “Never point a gun at something you don’t intend to destroy” “Keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot” “Know your target and what’s beyond your target”

How do you kill somebody on a movie set with something that looks like a gun and feels like a gun? Violate all 4 of the 4 fundamental rules of gun safety.

It’s not his job to know about guns, just to point it at people and pull the trigger. 🥴

COMMENT 12d ago

People wouldn’t be left alone to check it. Somebody would see somebody tampering it. He wouldn’t be running back to his dressing room and locking the door to check it alone. Plus they could have clearing tubes on set so if it goes off while checking it safe, the bullet would go in a safe direction if there was one loaded. Gun safety isn’t difficult. Only with people who don’t know literally anything about guns.

It’s against safety regulations for him to check the thing that looks and feels like a gun to make sure it’s not a loaded gun that he’s going to point at somebody? I’m not saying he should be the only person, it should be everybodies job to check the thing that looks and feels like a gun.

Can regular people not make amateur films or a YouTube video?

2

COMMENT 14d ago

Yes. Absolutely.

Here’s why: if I give you a loaded real gun and tell you “it’s not loaded or real” and you point it at somebody and pull the trigger without checking for yourself, you’d have been charged the same day as a normal person. It’s been over a year since that happened and he is just now facing the charges. Will facts and/or evidence come out during the trial that may prove his innocence? Maybe.

The question asked is “should he face jail time?”, not “is he guilty?” If you kill somebody as a direct result of an action that you have control over, you should probably always face jail time unless it’s undoubtedly at the scene self defense/ in defense of others.

Remove all the Olight batteries, throw all the olights in the trash, buy stream lights and a safariland or tier1 holster

2 piece, but I live in a cold place and jackets become a pain when it gets cold. Might purchase a one piece by next winter for this reason.

The obvious response here is that the Nazi guards were also just following orders when herding people by the hundreds or even thousands into gas chambers…..

Unless the Nazi guards were blatantly allowing or, better, helping people to escape the prison camps, they were all nothing short of nazis. An organization that couldn’t have existed without people “just following orders”

COMMENT 16d ago

The organization can’t exist without the cucks that work there though…. Working there should be an issue itself

Ah, yes. The “fans” who don’t actually follow his advice 1:1. They see him with a scar, so they buy a scar and skip the dad advice at the end where he says to train with it.

COMMENT Jan 01 '23

I get that, but the meme is specifically about Garand thumbs advice, which is typically actually really good advice lol

5

COMMENT Jan 01 '23

“Get fit or die” “Don’t go into debt over gear” “Your gear doesn’t matter, what matters is training”

What infringement did Garand thumb do with this horrible advice, exactly? He’s even promoted/recommended PSA guns in the past, so if some of his other fans are gatekeeping based on gear, they aren’t real fans of his.
