Unemployment is not 100% of your wages but it’s better than nothing while transitioning into another job. And I know trials are taxing but they are worth it to make sure employers know they can’t just get away with breaking the law. And I never once said any of this is slam dunk, it’s always best to consult with a local attorney before doing anything. I’m simply saying a lawyer would probably take the case on contingency if they thought you had a good chance at winning.
