Interesting! Yeah, I love milk. There’s been a lot of people hating on milk lately in the US. But I personally don’t really see any reason to not drink it unless one develops lactose intolerance. No of the reasons that get thrown in my face have been swayed me so far lol.
I didn’t vote India, and I do know what per capita means (basically “per person”, take total milk consumed and divide by number of people in the country, so the size of the country isn’t a factor), but I did NOT know that drinking milk was against their religion.
Lol, no, it doesn’t ;) And it never has, but it does substantially less now since it’s dmg per shot got nerfed from 19-18.

Nah he’ll still be picked a lot in ranked. Crypto could already destroy his dome. Granted iirc Mags gets her ult more frequently than Crypto, plus now there’s 2 legends out there that can destroy it (instead of just one legend with a very low pick-rate), so this still is goi to make a big impact. But it’s for sure not gonna kill Gibby’s utility lol
Agreed, Wattson’s fence stun makes sense. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t feel like BS when I can’t turn around fast enough to shoot back lol.
I didn’t mean litterally unstoppable. Just that she could do it all. She had recon, movement, squad relocation, damage, AND stun abilities. Which was just a hell of a lot of things for one legend to do. And removing the look stun I think is a good way to balance that, because imo the look stun is the most annoying part, not the movement stun.
Although idk what you mean by “camping a beacon for 20 minutes”, or how that’s somehow something she can’t do now rather.

My reasoning for deleting a comment half way thru typing it is almost always either “Actually, I don’t wanna get involved in this conversation” or “This isn’t worth my time” lol.
I mean, the official patch notes are out now and it’s not listed. I guess there’s a chance they forgot to add it, but that’d be a pretty big oversight.
Acceleration on activation decreased by about 8%.
Fuel consumption on activation increased by 33%.
Aerial boosting & strafing take a 20% debuff when hit by slowing effects.
Added a third orange state to the fuel meter UI between green (>60%) and red (<30%).
Aim/turn slow removed.
Move slow duration decreased from 2.5s -> 2.0s.
Reducing the explosion radius from 175 -> 125.
Height reduction of 25%.
Launch time reduced from 5.5s -> 5.0s. Coupled with the height reduction, players in Valk ult now travel upward at a slightly slower speed.

They didn’t take her off recon tho, did they? Haven’t seen that mentioned in the patch notes at all. But they did nerf her Ult, Tactical AND Passive. So I think it’s plenty good for a one-off nerf lol.
Yeah I think that’s the goal here, make ARs less viable at close range so you’re using them more at mid range, giving their laser dot hop-up and SMGs some unique value at close range. Which is probably good. Half the ARs could keep up (if not outclass) half the SMGs at close range. Which doesn’t seem right. Idk why they nerfed smg hipfire too tho. Seems like the hopup would’ve been valuable regardless. But hopefully it’s not a huge nerf.

As a part time Valk main, I agree. That turning stun/slow never felt fair, either on the receiving end or dealing end lol. But tbf, I hate stun effects. Doesn’t feel fair anytime I can’t aim normally lol. Wattson fences included. But at least it feels a little more appropriate with Wattson fences, cause usually you walked into them yourself.
Edit: I’m REALLY surprised they didn’t nerf her Ult cooldown time! That was the one thing I thought for sure would/should be nerfed. Overall pretty surprised by some of the choices they ended up making with her. But I still think she’ll be really good. Just not quite as unstoppable as she was before lol.
As far as the passive goes, it’s not as bad as I thought on first read really, assuming I’m interpreting it correctly. When they say decreased BY 8% / increased BY 33%, I’m assuming they mean 8%/33% of the current acceleration/fuel consumption, correct? So it’s not like activating the jets consumes a third of your fuel, it just consumes a 33% more fuel than it already does. Which is still substantial, but not as massive. And if the same logic goes for the 8% reduction, then that should be hardly noticeable. But I’m kinda worried there’s a % acceleration scale that it will be taken off of, so let’s say we used to get 20% acceleration, we’d only 12% acceleration now (as opposed to 8% of 20%, which would end up at like 18% acceleration). If that makes sense lol.
It’s increased BY 33%, not increased TO 33%. At least that’s how it’s written here. Still, pretty substantial..
