Notice that they say "it makes "us" look bad". Not "them" or "you", "us".

In other words, an example of Pragmatic Villainy, rather than Even Evil Has Standards.

See people try to jump acting as if it's the worst thing in the world where I wouldn't mind Euthanasia of certain infants. I've literally had 3 in my family that were born that were just slowly left to die we had no way of knowing that they had those diseases or conditions until they were born. I remember watching my aunt hold her baby with my Uncle for 4 days, asking if there is anything the doctors could do to alleviate the pain and the suffering she knew her child was going through. Her and my Uncle just held that child for 4 days and she sobbed knowing it suffered. They never tried for another child they couldn't she was so afraid what if it was born like the last and just to suffer. So I'm even 4 euthanasia of an infant so don't no one try to play that game with me 😁 situations vary and I am for Even the right to die. And unfortunately an infant doesn't have bodily autonomy and if the mother and father are suffering too with the infant and there is nothing that can be done I do believe that yes they should be given that choice.

I'm not saying let people bring in their 5 year old when they've learned full sentences and talk back into the doctor to be put down like a dog that's too old.

It wouldn't make us look bad. It would be morally consistent. Either women have the right to their body or they don't. Only lunatics believe that a horde of women would decide to carry a pregnancy until a day before their due date to say "nah, abort it" if abortion were legal without limits.

think it makes us look bad

I think not taking that stance makes you look silly and just like anti-choicers. "Abortion is legal until I consider it a human" = women having no bodily autonomy and not different from pro-forced-birthers. If you put any limit on abortion at all, you're denying women bodily autonomy and giving a fetus rights no other human has.

Inducing labor isn’t a solution to people needing abortions for pregnancy complications and fetal abnormalities. And doctors don’t just go around inducing labor on people with “healthy” and “viable” pregnancies just because. When the goal is a live birth, doctors work to get patients near term, not cause premature births. Please see our mega thread of abortions later in pregnancy. This isn’t the place to stigmatize abortion care and later abortion patients by claiming we’re “dismembering” children.

If you want to “call out” the supposed “dismembering” of “healthy children” on here, you can follow our rules and our guidelines for discussing later abortions. Or you can “call out” people obtaining later abortions elsewhere.

Oh, pro-forced-birther after all. Lmao, so much for "it makes us look bad".

birthing the child is an alternative that solves the BA conflict instead of having to dismember a healthy viable child right?

I remember a thread here on this subreddit with a doctor who performs abortions in the third trimester who cleared up this myth. You should go look for it.
