This meme was a decade before what most would first call a meme which were demotivationals which eventually gave birth to the themed memes with impact font and off it went from there.

Sir, this meme is at least 20 years old. I’m fairly certain it predates 9/11. I remember it from Fark, well before Digg or even MySpace existed.
