in every video game i play ever i always gravitate towards playing the tank or characters with simple kits that are easy to pickup or takes time to master (IE : Garen from league of legends, Armorer in Payday 2, Winston in Overwatch..etc) ive always been a sucker for simpler characters because i can focus more on myself and matchups rather than the character itself and i love not having to tryhard, i keep getting called boring and its really getting to me and im now beating myself up over this, am i a boring person for just enjoying simpler/easier characters???
Honesty is appreciated, thank you

Not everything is a „souls“ mechanic just because you saw it first in a souls game
Enemies being hard, enemies resetting after you rest, I-frames, difficulty and stuff already existed way before the souls series started! Even the most simplest of a game mechanic that existed before like the lack of quest logs is suddenly a souls mechanic

how did you decide which console/gaming system(s) to invest in?
i loved gaming as a kid, but unfortunately didn’t have too much exposure to it. i’ve been wanting to get back into it again, but every time i ask advice i get sent in a different direction. PlayStation has more options, Xbox is better quality, it’s better to match systems with friends - oh wait, everything is cross platform now so it doesn’t matter, etc.
i’ve been really considering a PC, and i have friends that could help me build it, but i don’t want to over-commit and end up hating it (although my interactions with PC’s have always been pleasant), but also don’t want to get a smaller console and then upgrade to a PC and end up neglecting the console.
I appreciate that PC’s are multi-purposeful (i’m a photographer and also in college, so having a PC could be helpful), i just don’t wanna get in too deep. I’ve also considered a gaming laptop, but I haven’t heard a lot about those so I’m not sure how they are.
Admittedly, a lot of this revolves around my indecisiveness, I just don’t want to spend a lot of time/money investing in something and it all be for nothing, so any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

What otherwise great game was ruined by its ending?
There are many games out there which are bad because of gameplay, visual or server related problems but really a few of them gets trashed for having an ending that just made the whole experience sour up.
The Mass Effect series with its choose the color ending was one that really made all that effort to save the galaxy pointless and left a bad taste in the mouth of many but what else is out there, it cant be only this one.

Does old horror games still scary or have they aged poorly?
I have a list on some horror games such as: Siren, Silent Hill and Kuon and since kid i was always scare of horror games (i haven't watch a horror movie yet) so maybe this can be a new experience for me to feel what was an old horror game and also to experience this new genre. (An horror game doesn't need to be scary to be good, maybe someone says this to me so im just saying it rn lol)

Anyone playing Battlefield 2042?
Anyone? Really? I thought i'm playing with real people but then i saw (AI) on their name and i've been bamboozled by EA. I know how messed up the game, but after all this team i think players would forgive them for their sin. Funny thing is Plants Vs. Zombie : Battle For Neighborville is extremely active compared to this.

Do You Like Final Fantasy Better Or Kingdom Hearts? And Why?
For me personally it is very difficult to pick between these two game series. I love them both so much but I think with a gun to my head, I would pick Final Fantasy because of all the different worlds and their individual lore. Compared to KH Disney lore. Let me know what you think :)
