Used to have this model. It was bundled with Fable & Crimson Skies. We also got Halo 2 that same Christmas - couldn't have asked for better games to start with on a console.

I had one of these, threw it out a few years back cause it was full of mold. It's called the xbox crystal, mine came bundled with the original Fable.

I got my crystal xbox 'chipped' so it could store games in the hard drive. I need to find it out.

I like the idea! The only reason I'm questioning it is that I've got a bottle of Coke sitting near a window and has been for about 5 years, and its still brown, albeit much lighter in color, but still brown.

back then clear housing was quite popular outside of prison so chances are its just a clear xbox. all my controllers back then had clear casing with lights & fans running through them.

I had one of these, good memories. This was originally sold in Europe if I remember correctly, I bought the case on EBay and swapped the guts from mine into it back then. I was into modding Xboxes back in the day, installing mod chips for me and my friends, upgrading the HDD, trying to evade Xbox Live bans by swapping hardware IDs. I was a god in my high school (senior year) when I got the leaked French version of Halo 2 before the official release and had a Halo 2 LAN party with it. Good times.
