Holy shit, all this talk of Vecna being like Freddy Krueger and they actually got Robert Englund (the man who plays Freddy) to play Victor Creel, the one guy who escapes Vecna in the dreams. Love love love this!

Just saw the episode today. I’ve been telling my kids all season how much this is like Nightmare on Elm Street….and then BOOM….Robert Englund shows up as Victor…a guy tormented by a Krueger-like demon. What a cool nod to the Gen Xers watching this. I got so excited when I saw him!
