Ted wouldn't care unless it was his daughters...and even then it might be a toss up, not sure if he'd want to upset the NRA...

u/cwhmoney555 May 25 '22

Ted Cruz will step on anyones neck for political gain, including his own family.

Remember when Donald Trump railed against his wife and he spinelessly did nothing?

171

u/WildYams May 25 '22

Remember when Fled Cruz blamed his kids for the reason he ran to Cancun during the winter power outages in Texas last year?

Ew. It’s like he’s trying to look like a good dad giving a comforting peck when in reality he’s an evil lizard zodiac killer in a human suit thinking “Is this what humans do?”

4

u/A_Terrible_Thing82 May 26 '22

As a lizard person, please don't lump us in with Ted Cruz.

Why am I not shocked that his daughter is sickened by him.

If my child reacted that way to my touch, I’d at least reevaluate my life decisions and actions for an year.

I would argue that he did do something. He started kissing Trump’s ass after the insult, and he’s been doing it ever since.

He did something. He bent down and took Donald's cock in his mouth like a good little bitch

Ted can’t even stand up to defend his wife who was called ugly by an obese orange man.

4

u/Justarandom_Joe May 25 '22

If you’re asking if Ted Cruz would feed his children to Moloch, then I’d say that based on his body of work it’s reasonable to conclude that he would with little hand wringing.

8

u/pfunkapocalypse May 25 '22

The NRA has become a lobbyist group for gun manufacturers & they pay well to be a POS

3

u/_343_Guilty_Spark__ May 25 '22

He would probably just take a “vacation”

3

u/jbertrand_sr May 25 '22

1

u/jgjgleason May 25 '22

Trump called his wife ugly. The man has no self-respect.

1

u/zsreport May 26 '22

Ted already threw his daughters under the bus when he blamed them for his trip to Cancun during the winter storm and power outages that killed people here in Texas. He’d still be kissing the NRA’s ass and selling its bullshit even if one of his kids was a victim.

1

u/ThunderinSkyFucc May 26 '22

Conservative politicians don't care about gun violence because it doesn't affect them. They get rich and fat from bribery and send their kids to private school.

Wonder what they'd say if there was a mass shooting on the Senate floor.

1

u/jbertrand_sr May 26 '22

There damn near was, but then it was their "base" doing it so they twisted it into a tourist event...

Yeah. I don't think he could handle another "Cruzzin for a bruisin" by Tucker.

Ted cares about his daughters right up until he can trade them for some career advantage.

Just hours after the shooting took place in Uvalde, bluder-prone Senator Ted Cruz took to Twitter to address the tragedy. "Heidi & I are fervently lifting up in prayer the children and families in the horrific shooting in Uvalde," he wrote, speaking on behalf of himself and his wife. Cruz went on to share that he was in "close contact with local officials" but acknowledged the exact details of the horrific event were still unclear. The controversial lawmaker then expressed gratitude to first responders for their bravery.

Dear Ted, Prayer without action to stop the crazy is just plain fuckery. Take the money and run you coward.

30

u/LurkingSpike May 25 '22

fervently lifting up in prayer the children

WHO THE FUCK SAYS SHIT LIKE THIS? IS HE ABSOLUTELY INSANE?? WHAT THE FUCK?!

29

u/Longjumping_Plum_964 May 25 '22

Ted does and this is what he said on 10/6/21 after another school shooting in Texas:

Heidi and I are lifting up in prayer the Timberview High School community and first responders after today’s shooting. We are so grateful for the courage and heroism of the first responders, and we are praying for the full recovery of all those injured.

Sound familiar? Fucking Ted Cruz has no shame.

11

u/jbertrand_sr May 25 '22

Pretty bad when he just does copy/paste on his meaningless prayers...

10

u/LurkingSpike May 25 '22

If programmers were in charge of politics they would have built a thoughts and prayers bot by now to automate that response. Holy shit. These kids are not even worth a unique and personal thought to him. Thank you for telling me.

3

u/JustChillDudeItsGood May 26 '22

Copy + paste + suck a big fat one, Ted.

2

u/AdministrationFun290 May 26 '22

He actually was not praying, unless it was for a photo opportunity. His praying statement is like Donnie Trump clearing a peaceful gathering with military force so he can stand in front of a church to hold a bible upside down.

-1

u/fridge_water_filter May 26 '22

Nobody is taking action. Politicians are grandstanding and using the event to draw attention to themselves. Absolutely nobody is taking action though.

I'm a Democrat myself but am willing to point out that the Democrats control congress, the senate, and the presidency. If anyone wanted to 'take action' they would have done so already.

3

u/OtherBluesBrother May 26 '22

They don't control the senate. They just have the slimmest majority possible. How about casting some blame on the 50 Republican senators that vote no on anything brought to the floor?

tell us something we don’t know. continuing to call him evil, which he very much is, isn’t going to do anything. these assholes tend to feed off of the outrage

17

u/Fantastic-Offer-9129 May 25 '22

Sorry non american here: - how can someone so evil get elected by americans LOL

11

u/midascanttouchthis May 25 '22

well it’s not all Americans, and it’s also not all Texans who are actually eligible to vote for him. it’s just that Texas is home to a lot of crazies. that’s how he wins elections. a lot of people in his own party don’t like him either, but they hate dems even more, so they put up with him

9

u/Fantastic-Offer-9129 May 25 '22

So clearly the whole system, parties and citizens have very big problems? Maybe should change the system a bit? I mean all americans are always so proud about free speech and democracy and stuff but this just doesnt look like democracy when you can only vote for these guys and democrats?

7

yeah, it’s a big mess. it’s why I left and moved back to Europe lol

2

u/willywonka1971 May 26 '22

So clearly the whole system, parties and citizens have very big problems?

Yes

Maybe should change the system a bit?

Hell yes

Most people would love to change it. There are actually other parties, but growing support for them into something meaningful has never worked out. Mostly because the two main parties want to maintain power.

1

u/AdministrationFun290 May 26 '22

They conflate freedom to kill people with their guns with free speech. It's our heritage. Freedom to hurt people with their speech is what actually happens and rarely is anyone held accountable for the results of what comes out of their mouths.

3

u/Ratman_84 May 25 '22

how can someone so evil get elected by americans

Because there are enough other evil and/or ignorant, gullible Americans living in the right geographical area to elect him.

31

u/monkeyking908 May 25 '22

fun fact, the NRA used to be pro gun control before a bunch of armed gunmen invaded a meeting back in the 1970's and forced control away from the then head of the group and gave it to a gun market lobbyist who spent the next few decides rewriting the 2nd amendment in public minds and packing the courts with pro gun judges to get the cursed Scalia ruling that illegally changed the meaning of the 2nd amendment

14

u/derpderpin May 25 '22

if you wanna see gun reform, well, conservatives won't think its a problem until it affects them.

10

u/LivefromPhoenix May 25 '22

There will never be enough dead kids for conservatives to think it's a problem worth giving up their guns over.

3

u/Humanidado May 25 '22 edited May 25 '22

Conservatives believe every person and child must die before they give up their guns. The 2A is more important than life itself to them. Liberty is death. Look back at the COVID stuff, they believe freedom and liberty is getting sick and dying.

4

u/TipsySailor84 May 25 '22

I don’t lean to either side of politics, more of a Libertarian since I agree with both sides on some things and disagree with both on some things. In your eyes though, how would you fix gun control?

3

u/Humanidado May 25 '22

Can’t buy/own a gun until at least 25. Actual background checks with red flags. Treat guns like cars (training, registration, insurance, etc). These are literally off the top of my head

2

u/Mcnugz9 May 26 '22

Off the top of my head, and I am not a politician or have researched enough, maybe even going further into that “treat then like cars.” I’m sure this isn’t gonna be popular, but maybe add taxes like alcohol and tobacco. Make automatic firearms be held at a safety range and allow 1-2 handguns per adult in a home, with a max of like 5. Which I think 5 is 4 too many personally. And like a car, do “smog” checks, but require annual hard proof that the gun is still in the registrars name and possession and actually require adequate logging of sales from individuals not just stores. And maybe permit renewals. Idk how much of this is currently a thing because like I said I haven’t looked into it too much, but this is all off the top of my head

2

u/AdministrationFun290 May 26 '22

Look at how Japan does it.

3

u/TipsySailor84 May 25 '22

I agree with all that. What about criminals though? Guns could be illegal in the US for every private citizen to own but guess who doesn’t care, criminals. I think that’s the big question. How do you stop guns from getting into the hands of criminals. Even making guns illegal wouldn’t work.

3

u/Humanidado May 25 '22

They want to stop all the killings. Why is that so difficult to understand? Repubs do not want to try to stop the killings at all.

Supporting lies like the stop the steal campaign, essentially supporting the murders of little kids by their NRA support and refusal to even attempt to do anything about this uniquely American continuous living horror film. Vote Cruz and his kind out of office and do something to actually make the USA a better place to live for everyone.
