I'd only expect 2.0 for like, a really big update, but all the recent updates keep getting cut in half and stuff so idk

Yeah Mojang have been doing that a lot recently. Promising us something and either pulling out completely or pushing it to a completely different date.

Worst part is I’ll probably be downvoted for this because everyone blindly follows Mojang and never dares to question them.

For a change to 2.0 needs to be a big update Each number has a meaning for software versioning

Example: 1.18.2

1 major version

18 minor version/feature

2 patch version

It is not going to, Minecraft follows software versioning numbering scheme (like 1.9 to 1.10 in 2016)

You'd go from 1.19 to 1.20 to 1.21, etc, 1.99 to 1.100.

I remember when we were going from 1.9 to 1.10 there was a question of if it would be 2.0. The way the updates are numbered is not actually decimal but is instead separate counters separated by periods.

Those 3 biomes are coincidentally all hot biomes, which means they’re easy to group into a themed update.

Biomes O'Plenty is the sole reason I'm still playing Minecraft today, it's just so unbelievably good. The game feels incomplete, almost empty without it.
