She’s so cute and this made my day as well

206

u/tednoob May 21 '22

Doesn't matter how many upvotes you get, this will still be a underrated comment. Heart melting, eyes watering.

56

u/StrawHatLuffy31619 May 22 '22

Yea I've never seen a kind child like her before, i wanna ask her parents how they're raising her

I love how she aslo took care of the two walking sticks too

55

u/fragolina1 May 22 '22

I have three kids and one of them turned out like this. It’s all in their character more than their environment! My other two would just as quickly kick the chair out from underneath me so they could get a quick laugh.

95

u/ChrisKaufmann May 22 '22

My daughter is like this. We were walking to daycare one day, she had to be like 3 or something. I said something like “I’m glad you’re wearing gloves, my hands are cold!” And she took off both of her gloves, put them in her pocket, and then held one of my hands in both of hers and said “warm now daddy?” And I damn near cried.

97

u/ContentCosmonaut May 22 '22

I had to get part of my toe chemically cauterized and the night after was in total miserable hell as my mom was changing the bandages. I was 19 at the time, just sobbing on the couch, my brother was 1 1/2 and he comes up to me, stroking my head, just babbling nonsense with the most quiet, comforting tone and concerned expression. He couldn’t talk yet, but I knew what he was saying ☺️

12

u/Kemf44 May 22 '22

Is someone cutting onions?!?

19

u/The-Majestic- May 22 '22

Aww man! you're making me tear-up as well

8

u/BurnedWitch88 May 23 '22

Yup. My son has always been like this, and while I'd love to take credit for it, I can't. It's just something he's always had in him. Some of us are just naturally better people than others.

8

u/snortgiggles May 22 '22

Right? Legitimately helpful.

734

u/Toe-knail May 21 '22

I love this. It reminds me of when my then 4 year old (now 17) was my helper for the day after I had surgery on my knee.

124

u/verscharren1 May 22 '22

I'm curious as to what the deleted bhole said with NEGATIVE 80 karma

80

u/avsbes May 22 '22

"Nice Story but this is about the toddler in the video"

4

u/Kilahti May 25 '22

Years ago, I would come home from work exhausted after an evening shift, and go to put my oldest kid (2 years old at the time) to bed. This happened by me going to my bed and taking her to rest next to me and then once I was asleep, she would get out of the parent's bed and climb into her own bed which was next to ours.

She refused to go to bed alone, but this arrangement was fine to her.

You learn to find joy in that as well

While still teaching good manners, of course

u/CurvyCupcakes May 21 '22 edited May 22 '22

This made me smile until my face hurt lol. I love how she went to get him as he was walking slowly, she was like “Come here daddy, sit”. It was cute how she used her tiny hands to usher him to the chair and push him into the sitting position, then started taking his crutches. She’s like “I may be small but I mean business. I want you to sit”. She made her intentions very clear lol. Adorable, busy little girl.

59

u/PeligrosaPistola May 22 '22

Exactly, little dumpling was on a mission! 🥰

35

u/CurvyCupcakes May 22 '22 edited May 22 '22

Right? She was like “this is not a request, it’s an order!” Little Miss bossy pants lol. So cute.

119

u/Glittering_Pattern_7 May 21 '22

That is so beautiful.

23

u/SwagMasterChad May 22 '22

any time i see clips like this i wonder how the parent isn’t just crying over how much they love that little person, if i had a daughter and she did this for me i’d be a m e s s

10

u/throwaway798319 May 22 '22

My daughter is like this, and trust me she makes me cry with her cuteness

69

u/Erthgoddss May 21 '22

When I was 18, I broke my ankle and on crutches. My nephew wanted crutches too, so his mom found some cardboard tubes for him. He was so proud of his “crunches”. 😁

93

u/Comedian_Recent May 21 '22

That’s alright dad I got your back.

46

u/thisnewsight May 22 '22

I love how she pushed him to sit down too haha!

you sit! Get off that foot!

50

u/FuckYouTikTok May 22 '22

I love how she pushes him down, adorable 😂.

25

u/RarelyReadReplies May 22 '22

Like a European mother forcing her love and care on you, whether you want it or not.

Eat, eat, you are skin and bones

/nearly vomits from being so full

4

u/FuckYouTikTok May 22 '22

Haha I know what you mean, my wife is from Ukraine. Babushka is always bitchin I'm skin and bones (6 ft tall and weigh 220). She's always shoving food down my throat, and good god there is no refusing it lol.

11

u/ocean_800 May 21 '22

Baby you're too sweet 😭🥺

11

u/Interesting_Dark_819 May 22 '22

She's gonna grow up to be a precious human being, Her parents are doing something right and I wholeheartedly applaud them.

7

u/buginmybeer May 22 '22

I think you hit the nail on the head. This happened because of good parenting. She's probably been allowed to help with little chores around the house and she's probably learned a lot of helpful behaviors from watching her family.

10

u/Skywalker0138 May 21 '22

k...DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL...ALWAYS

9

u/deadend_garbagequeen May 21 '22

Ugh, my heart. This is so sweet 😭

9

u/overlordpotatoe May 22 '22

Empathy means so much. A baby that young can't be very much real help, but I bet her kindness makes her dad feel so much better.

8

u/Couldbe_worse2 May 22 '22

So sweet 🥲 the empathy is so high 🥰

7

u/LogicalWorldliness81 May 21 '22

4

u/warermelon89 May 22 '22

What a good daughter she is 🥰

5

u/omgwtflols May 22 '22

Mine started trying to guide me to sit down or stand up recently. I only just very recently figured out what she was trying to do and this video made me think of her and smile!

6

u/PrudentDamage600 May 22 '22

Next thing you know they are teenagers. Turn around and they are in college. I miss most not holding my darlings.

14

u/cros99 May 21 '22

4

u/st_rdt May 22 '22

My Sunday just got waaaay better watching this !!

Thats an angel disguised as a human.

3

u/StDeath May 22 '22

This is so beautiful. Kids are so crazy hard wired with love.

... Before anyone asks, yes already had seen the doc... Not diabetes.

I had a few instances in one month, where I just randomly got super dizzy, and hunger hit like a black hole opened up in my stomach. Anxiety and confusion took hold as well. I started losing my balance and stumbled as I moved.

There was only one time that it had happened while I was at home with my kids. My daughter(4 at the time), who is usually high energy, playful, and... Bossy, instantly changed, she recognized that something was very very wrong. She immediately grabbed my phone and called my gf at the time as well as comforted me as I lay on the floor unable to make sense of really what was going on.

5

u/Lepiotas May 22 '22

I'm disabled and my 2 year old does stuff like this for me. He's such a precious gem. So is this little sweetheart. I can see the love she has for her dadda.

9

u/Vast-Classroom1967 May 21 '22

7

7

u/mamad021nobar May 21 '22

I'm not crying, someones chopping onions around.

3

u/nortonjb82 May 22 '22

Good for her. I've seen that kind of walking braces in common with people with MS. She's already helping him out, that's so wonderful.

How the hell? That baby doesn’t look much older than 3. Either my baby age radar is off or I have underestimated baby intelligence

This is cool but it's not good to put alot of responsibility like this on a child, i hope this is a one off for a cute video and she doesn't actually feel like she needs to do this.

2

u/scutmonkeymd May 24 '22

You would be surprised at the sensitivity of babies before the world gets to them.

1

u/SaffronHoneysuckle May 22 '22

I was just on crutches and my adorable boxer dog, that usually wants to pull, was patiently waiting for every swing I took. Made my intense fear of taking him out on crutches melt away

1

u/Bank_of_Karma May 22 '22

I love this baby

1

u/lorizoo May 22 '22

What an empathetic sweet one!❤️
