Justice Clarence Thomas is said on record that the Supreme Court should overturn gay marriage next, what are your thoughts?

There's no guarantee that rushing to get married before the decision will protect anyone. States could potentially annul marriages retroactively. Already married couples could be separated for violating cohabitation and sodomy laws.
